Is the hardener for the 2-component durable, good covering and slightly elastic PUR varnish for finishing wood, glass, plastic, metal and non-ferrous metals. Very resistant to sun, water, chemicals and diluted acids and lyes. Retains its (satin) gloss and is UV-resistant. Has a M1 fire retardant effect according to UNE 23727-90 and is F1 classified according to NF- F-16101. The hardener is available separately in 250 ml, 1 lt, 2.5 lt and 5 lt packages. A hardener is supplied as standard with the small packages.

Applications
As a finishing coat for various applications to boat, construction and model making. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. When spraying, however, one should dilute by 10-20% with Urkisol 8229.
Usage
- Always ensure a dry and grease-free surface.
- Never use in the full sun.
- Mix the individual components well before use.
- Mix both components in a 2/1 (urki voc) or 3/1 (urki-nato) volume ratio, depending on the type of varnish.
- Let this mixture rest for about 15 minutes and then process it within 5 hours.
- Waiting time between layers 3-4 hours.
- Dust dry after 30 minutes, tack free after 3-4 hours.
- As extra adhesive layer for porous substrates you can use primer G4, for aluminium or stainless steel substrates you can use epoxy light primer.
- Spray pressure: 2,5-4 bar with an opening of 1,5-1,8 mm.
Attention: too much humidity can cause air bubbles to form on the surface. Never use the hardener alone, but always in combination with the lacquer.
Safety
The use of a carbon filter mask type A2 is recommended. Cleaning agent for tools: cleaner M (environmentally friendly substitute for acetone).
