Is a 2-component solvent-free PU compound with a tough- property. Good electrical insulation and perfectly waterproof. Can be painted and glued with traditional products. Is self-levelling. K6S is temperature resistant up to 120 °C (from 60 °C softening of the material may occur).

Available in 1 kg, 5 kg and 30 kg packs.

Applications

Ideal as an electronics casting resin due to its good flow and insulation properties. Can also be used as an adhesive for e.g. PVC and polystyrene foam, without affecting the surface. Can be used in the food industry. Casting of floors and plinths.

Usage

Always make sure that the surface is as dry and grease-free as possible and apply a layer of primer G4 first, preferably to porous substrates. Let it dry for at least 4 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. Mix the individual components well before use. Then mix K6S and hardener in a 4/1 ratio by weight.

Potlife: approx. 40 min. at 20°C
Cured after 12 hours and fully hardened after 1 week.
By means of 0.15% PUR accelerator, potlife is reduced to 15-20 min. at 20°C.
Processing temp. : 0-30°C.
Can be poured and distributed with a toothed spatula, brush or roller (self-levelling).

Please note:

The larger the quantity you finish, the shorter the processing time.
Avoid mixing in air, use our special screw mixer for this purpose.
Too much humidity can lead to the formation of air bubbles on the surface.

Cleaning agent for tools: cleaner M (environmentally friendly substitute for acetone).
