Is a 2-component structural foam. Should always be used in combination with the B-component. After you get a very hard foam with a closed cell structure and skin formation with a density of 400 kg/m³. CFC-free floating agent. Resistant to chemicals and acids.

Available in 1 kg, 5 kg packaging. (A-component)

Applications

For filling hollow spaces or shapes. You can imitate wood with H 400 if you pour it into a silicone mould, for example. Also used in orthopaedics to make shoe lasts.

For the manufacture of handles. Due to the closed cell structure, suitable for long-term contact with water.

Can be painted, glued, filled, nailed and screwed. Can be coloured with 5% PUR pigment.

Attention: does not give a homogenous colour. When exposed to sunlight, the material may discolour after a while.

Usage

Mix both components in a 100/100 weight ratio and pour the mixture into the shape or area to be filled.
The potlife is approx. 65 sec.
The expansion is approx. 2.5 x the volume.
Dry after 15 min.
De-formable after 20 min. and fully cured after 12 hours.
Make sure the processing temperature is between 20°C and 25°C.
Store the foam between 10 and 25°C.
Mixing is best done with a mechanical mixer.
As a release agent we recommend APW.

Always provide appropriate protective clothing and gloves. Avoid prolonged skin contact.

The use of a carbon filter mask type A2 is recommended.

Caution: container may be under pressure.

Cleaning agent for tools: cleaner M (environmentally friendly substitute for acetone).
