Is a 2 component polyurethane casting resin. Ideal for filling hollow spaces in your home (cavity wall, false ceilings, ...) as insulation. Can also be used for filling hollow spaces in boats to make your boat unsinkable. Suitable for making floats.

Should always be processed in combination with the B-component. After curing you obtain a hard foam with a closed cell structure and a density of 50 kg/m³. CFC-free floating agent. Resistant to chemicals and dilute acids.

Available in 0.7 kg, 3.5 kg, 10 kg and 200 kg packaging.

Applications

For filling hollow spaces in e.g. boats, rafts, buoys or sandwich cores. For heat and cold insulation. Because of its closed cell structure suitable for contact with water for long periods.

Temperature resistant from -40 to +120°C.
Can be painted, glued and filled.
Can be coloured with 5% PUR pigment.

Attention: does not give a homogenous colour. When exposed to sunlight, the material will discolour after a while.

Usage

Mix individual components thoroughly before use.
Mix both components in a 100/145 ratio by weight and pour this mixture into the shape or area to be filled.
The potlife is approx. 35 sec.
The expansion is approx. 20 x the volume.
Dry after 15 min.
Deformable after 20 min. and fully hardened after 12 hours.
Ensure a processing temperature of +18°C to +25°C.
Store the foam between 10°C and 25°C because of frost sensitivity.
Mixing is best done with a mechanical mixer.
