Applications
As a thickener for this silicone rubber. You keep the quality of the rubber, but make it thicker for brushing and filling in several layers or for overhead work. Never use alone, but always in combination with a silicone rubber mixed with hardener.
Usage
- First mix the hardener with the silicone.
- Then mix 2-3% thickener thoroughly into both components of the silicone rubber until the desired thickness is achieved.
- Addition does not affect the reaction.
- When using the thickener, it is recommended to increase the quantity of hardener to 8-10%.
Safety
- Always provide appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
- Avoid prolonged skin contact.
- Cleaning agent for tools: cleaner M (environmentally friendly substitute for acetone).
