Phenolic resin
The raw material for phenolic resin is phenol formaldehyde. Phenol formaldehyde resins are formed by a condensation reaction between a phenol and an aldehyde. Usually, phenolic resin is used in combination with other binders. Phenolic resin finds its application in acid-curing paints, interior painting products and boat paints, among others.
