Applications of acrylic

Acrylic resin is an environmentally friendly product that is used for bonding agents, hardeners, protective layers, varnish and as a binding agent in paints, among other things.

This type of resin exists as a ready-to-use 1-component filler or joint sealant, which serves as a finish or joint filler in the construction industry. This allows you to work quickly and smoothly on various substrates such as wood, concrete or stone. In addition, acrylic resins can exist as a 2-component adhesive. This adhesive has a super strong bond to almost any substrate.

In powder form, is commonly Zellaan used, a porcelain plaster that can be used for casting sculptures. This non-shrink casting compound has a nice white structure and can, if necessary, be painted over with paint or varnish.

By using acrylic resin as a finishing layer, you get a very strong and lightweight end product that is durable and weatherproof.

Working with acrylic

When working with acrylic resin it is recommended to use protective clothing (overalls), gloves and a mouth mask.
