Sliced glass fibres
Sliced glass fibres, as the name suggests, consist of glass wire fibres cut to 3 to 5 mm. Cut glass fibres are used to reinforce resins such as polyester, epoxy, vinylester and polyurethane.
After mixing, the cut glass fibres provide increased reinforcement of the resin. Moreover, mixing with resin can easily be used to fill and reinforce sharp edges or corners.
